The DC SnB Post

As a result of this post,
emmala and I got to emailing and hashed out a few ideas for a Stitch-N-Bitch group.
Right now, we're thinking that Sunday afternoons & rotating hosts' houses seem the best, but it's certainly open for negotiation by those who'd like to join. If there are enough people that want to give it a go, I can host the first one on the 26th.
[Poll #1282371]
Flames and troll posts will be deleted. Don't make trouble. Knitters have stabbity needles.

Date: 2008-10-21 03:39 am (UTC)I have nothing against the DC SnB Yahoo group, when it comes down to it-- but they meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, and that doesn't work so well for me. Weekends will be much better, and I can contribute whatever I have on Netflix if we run out of things to bitch about while stitching.

Date: 2008-10-21 02:47 pm (UTC)Sundays aren't a great day for me, unless you don't mind me popping in late - I work until 8pm in old town Alexandria and I'm not sure when hostesses will be booting people out of the door. Saturday afternoons would be perfect for me. Perhaps alternating weekend days could be an option?

Date: 2008-10-21 05:49 pm (UTC)I imagine Sundays might be our 'day' for a while, but we can work some other days in there, too.

Date: 2008-10-22 01:19 am (UTC)I saw your post on the DC community and definitely want in. Are you on Ravelry? Could we do a group there, too?

Date: 2008-10-22 02:27 am (UTC)I'm under the same name on Ravelry, but I don't use it much, other than to track projects.
