Next time, I'll remember to get the whole weekend off.

I forgot that I had Sunday duty this weekend (the weekend of chattacon) until it was too late to do much more than get someone to cover my morning, so I wouldn't have to get up and do anything until noon. Other than being parched, I'm feeling pretty groovy.

Well, and incredibly hungry. But then, you dance a couple hours and see if you don't want a pizza of your own. Or nachoes. Mmm. Yes, A milkshake and fries would do nicely. But that way, madness lies.

We did a lot of dancing last night. Yay! I am so glad that I met new people (yay for friends of friends!) and that they found me again before I took it into my head to leave last night. I am so nervous in the unknown, y'all. But dancing and silliness was good! I certainly hope that I will get to see them again, and not only at wicked_wish's and moriarty6's wedding.

I imagine most everybody is still asleep or packing up to go home. I'm sitting around watching Star Trek: The Motion Picture and washing some clothes. It's foggy over the river and everything has a sleepy, peaceful feel. The animals are flopped out on the floor (The Adorable Puppy™ is snoring). Rest well, drive safe, be good!

yeah, having to work this morning would have been bad.. very very bad... but at least you shouldn't be hung over, so it's all good ;) I be damned if I didn't feel hung over this morning, and I didn't touch a drop! I'm the only person I know who gets a contact hangover from my friends ;) Anyway, it was a pleasure meeting you this weekend, and even more so to dance with you. I hope I can think up an excuse to do it again before Cherie' and Jym's wedding!

I feel like a ditz, but I can't remember the name of Jess's friend, with the curly black hair and the utilikilt, the one who was dancing so well with Jym, James, and on stage. Can you help me out here, so I can ammend my image comments and give him proper credit? Thanks! :)

Anyway, gotta write my own post-con LJ post, then try to get some work done around here... see you later!

Not quite... I didn't give into the voices urging me to go get pizza and ice cream... very tempted by them, but I ended up staying at home, playing on line and getting some geek-work done. However, it's going to be a long week... If I give into the urge some time later this week, would you care to join me? I might even be able to talk Cherie and Jym into going, as it's recently hit home that they will be leaving town sooner than I thought, and they are too much fun to let them slip away like that...
