Wicked_Wish posted her digipics (mine will have to wait until I drop off the disposable camera - I was nervous to take a real one), so I nabbed a couple that she took of me. I don't think there are any of us together- which is odd, considering we hauled ass together Friday night. I stole the soul of a couple of cosplayers and will share their images when I get my stuff developed.

I had a great time, though I would have planned things a bit differently with foreknowledge. It was all shiny and distracting. Good times, good times. I was really glad to run into the darkCon people, too, though I think they were scrambling a little from people that were kept from making it to the con. Not their fault! At any rate, if I do it again next year, I have all my notes handy. ;)

I don't usually make posts public, but I'll leave this one open so the few folks to which I was introduced will be unconfused. Have a great week and drive safely back!

Isn't DragonCon awesome? I think it took me until about the second or third time going to get a handle on what I wanted to do. Love it.

Saw them, but didn't make it to a concert.

In retrospect, I'd try to know beforehand who was having room parties and where. I'd only play DarkCon between 7-10, if that long (it's wicked fun, but I missed out on other stuff by being there), and I'd make a list of panels I wanted to see.

I finally figured out last year to get one of the small calenders and mark which panels I was interested in (sometimes more than one at the same time) before or early into the con, so that I could just look and choose, instead of having to wade thru all the discriptions every time.

(OT) I about died when I played the 'is that the same spyder who...' with wicked_wish's flickr pics. Now I have to sit under the torture test of time until the message I gave her gets reviewed, passed on, reviewed again, screened, verified, stamped, sealed, publicly notarized and then signed by an attorney. ;)

You remember a gaming shop off of Jackson Ave, and a guy that just came out from Iceland that was introduced via Candice, Bob and the Crazy Dane Lars Hess? The same guy who went out with Lisa?
