Fear of exhaustion
1.25 miles on the treadmill, bf was 2T almond butter on the small (50 cal/3net carb) la tortilla factory tortilla. Lunch is leftover chopped salad, 3oz pork chop, and half a small avocado with seasoned salt. Snack is 1/5 bar ES dark chocolate.
I got the part time job as the local bakery, and I'm excited to know I could get one, but I'm also timorous. I wish the tutoring place had needed me a couple hours a week (better pay), or that the university had needed a summer section taught (same deal). This is hourly, though decent, and has some benefits. But it's 15 hours a week on top of teaching, and that scares me.
If I can make it through the first three weeks, there won't be that much of the school year remaining, and this is a thing that will help me dig out of some poor choices I made when I was young, and also shop for a different budget of house. But, damn.

Long day yesterday, but I succeeded in picking up my sister and nephew with no issues. Came home and made pork chops and Brussels sprouts.
Today, 1.25 miles, bf was breakfast casserole on a lc tortilla. Lunch is leftover Brussels and 4oz porkchop. Snack is 2 energy bites. Not sure about dinner. Will probably see what Sprouts has on sale today.
Self-care Wednesday, so I plan to rest after school, probably some knitting. The weekly agenda is going to return, but I have to figure out what I'm putting on it. ð

So, I didn’t. I *did* do the girls’ makeup for the ones who were volunteering from our camp and that was fun. I did batter with other in-camp folks for a while. But, I’m again in my sleeping bag cocoon, with my earplugs, about to read for a bit, and it’s good.
I am am extremely grateful I left town and came and saw the people I wanted to see and that they seemed to enjoy me, too. The weather changes made me a little agitated and I cannot yet determine if I handled it well. My tent handled the rain with only minimal leakage in some fairly expected/commonplace locations. I’ll have to drive home with a wet tent, but I hope the parents will let me lay it out in their yard for drying out and resealing.
I hope next year there will be some more classes I’m interested in taking. I won’t even pretend to guess what the weather might do. ðĪŠ
Gulf Wars 2018
I nicked out to get my car today and helped some newbies get from the parking gully wash to the main GW area. (Bless them, they were dedicated to having this experience in 52°rainy weather. Ugh.)
I am okay with this year’s experience.
Gulf Wars, pt 1 of whatever
Today, I got up and showered as soon as it was decently warm, then delivered last cookies and took a long walk through merchants row to have alone time. I love war, but you’re not by yourself. I came back to camp, had lunch, helped with some things, did another delivery (not mine, but for a friend), then another meandering walk with a friend. Dinner was Cajun stir fry, and then we went to midnight madness (not at actual midnight) down merchants row for sales. Anything I was actually interested in was outside of my budget, but wasn’t anything needed. We had a whiskey tasting back in camp, and now I’m cocooned in my sleeping bag writing this with my earplugs in. ð
the teermal sleeping bag bag has been a godsend, since I don’t have a tent heater yet.
Made it!

Didn't nap yesterday, because I either missed the window or body didn't want it at the time. Meh. Body, you need it. Finished the top hems of the Roman garb, plan to do the shoulder fastenings tonight.
This morning I hit the snooze twice, so 1.25 miles, bf was 2T almond butter on 2 slices keto bread, lunch is tuna pouch, celery, 1 svg cheesy cauliflower casserole. Snack is 1/5 ES dark chocolate. I may have a whey smoothie for an after school snack, as I only have about 1+ oz of steak left for dinner. And a little frozen spinach, etc.
This week's agenda: Google form still broken; continue hemming the Roman. Knitting and/or weaving (four rows here or there).
Today is office hours and a Datura workout.

Made my keto bread last night. When I first started, I was getting lovely huge loaves, and now I get door stops. I'm a good breadmaker so I can't figure out what the hell. Tastes good, anyway. Sewed for one hour during NCIS, then did some yoga.
Today, 1.25 miles, then bf was a smoothie with 1.5 cups unsweetened vanilla Milkadamia, simple truth whey, and 2 tbsp ketologie. Lunch is a tuna pouch, 2 hb eggs, celery sticks, and 2 slices of keto bread. Dinner will be 4oz skirt steak and cheesy cauliflower casserole-- unless I go by Sprouts for more eggs & groceries.
This week's agenda: Google form still broken; continue hemming the Roman. Knitting and/or weaving (four rows here or there).
Today is self-care Wednesday, so the general idea is a nap, then sewing during X-Files & 911.
I didn't have time to post yesterday.
Too full.

It's Self-Care Wednesday!
This morning, 1.25 miles (knee has been barking, so I dropped the speed down to 3.0), bf was a simple truth whey smoothie with 1 tbsp ketologie and 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk. And I added some whipped cream, too. Fancy!
Lunch is deli turkey and 1 slice Colby jack with 1/2 tbsp chipotle avocado mayo on a lc tortilla, with celery sticks and 10 blackberries. Snack is 1/4 cup pumpkin seed-pecan blend and 1/5 ES dark chocolate. I had the last chicken breast last night, so dinner will be eggs and sausage with leftover kale and two small (1 svg total) almond flour biscuits.
My yarn of the month from Paradise Fibers arrived with a notice that they're ending the club. Boo! I mean, it won't be bad for me to direct that cost to a different part of my budget, but I liked getting yarn every month.
This week's agenda: Google form still broken; sew cuffs on new pants, pin and take up old pants, trace for "master pattern." Knitting and/or weaving (four rows here or there).
I did so much knitting last night (6 rows, finished one section of horseshoe lace!), I don't need to do any more for a bit. Pants should be the goal after a nap and some Datura workout!
