We made it to the weekend
Feb. 9th, 2018 06:41 am TGIF!
The keto granola experiment was a success! [I used this recipe](https://www.fatforweightloss.com.au/recipe/keto-granola/), but I change a few things. I didn't use flaked almonds at all. I used unsweetened shredded coconut instead of desiccated. I used torani sugarfree "brown sugar cinnamon" instead of the sf maple syrup called for. I added a scattering of salt. I used coconut oil instead of MCT oil.
When it was all done, I weighed it and divided by 7 to do servings. MFP clocks it at 475 calories per serving (so it's a *dense* breakfast), but only 4 net carbs.
Today, 1.5 miles on the treadmill, then a serving of keto granola (this batch was 2.21oz per; I imagine you'd get small variances per batch) and a half cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk. The tea is steeping, and will have its additions of 1 tbsp hwc and 2 tsp sf vanilla in the ozark mug, and 1 tsp hwc and .5 tsp sf vanilla in my mug.
Lunch is a serving of Egg Roll in a Bowl, and a Roam meat stick (from the Keto Krate). Since the granola is mostly nuts, I'm forgoing nuts in my snack and adding a low carb tortilla with 2 tbsp whipped cream cheese to my lunch. I'm keeping the 1/5 ES dark chocolate.
I've been invited to a Mardi Gras party tonight, but I already had some feels when I saw the FB invite: too much sugar, carbs, etc., and do I want to deal with things I cannot eat at the end of a work week? So I only put "maybe" on the invite. I'm leaning towards declining, then watching RuPaul's DRAS and maybe a little Olympics.
I've mostly done extra treadmill this week, due to Shark Week and the overdoing, but I think I've settled on [Raq Steady as my next Datura Online course](https://daturaonline.com/raq-steady-overview). The sessions are really long (1hr40+min) so I'm thinking I might split it up during the week to do the drills on one day and the choreography portion on the next. I'm capable of adding my own warmup or cooldown as needed to accommodate that.
Today and Weekend Agenda: A friend helped me fix the Google Form yesterday, so I'm now onto working with autoCrat to make it generate emails; still haven't basted together sample pants, so that *needs* to happen; need to iron the hems into the Roman garb and sew it; knitting and weaving; grocery shopping (eggs, cold cuts, pickles, pork rinds, celery, diet Dr Pepper); plant the bulbs I got for bday but have been in fridge; sleep!
