There's a reason why I never argue (though I have tried coaxing) with my friends' schedules.

I get it.

How can I be sad about how little time someone has to spend socially, when I am teaching a GRE class Monday, have dance class Tuesday, have Dorm Duty Wednesday, Knitting Club Thursday, and stop to breathe Friday? I'm not going to complain about someone else who has a similar schedule, even if it evidences on the weekend, when my free time does occur. I have no justification in doing so.

I suspect that the longer I live alone (sans roommate or other human), the less tolerant I get of non-comprehension of the academic work week. It's my life. I bought into it the idea and do my best to accept the vagaries which come with it.

This pseudo-introspection is brought to you by Diet Dr. Pepper and the fine people at Zen and the Art of PowerNapping.
